In addition, a cyclist’s heart race may be anywhere between 130 to 160 beats per minute while cycling. Not only is cycling a great form of cardio, but it tones muscles such as; Quadriceps, hamstrings, hip flexors, calf muscles, and even abdominals. While cycling burns body fat, it also helps the cyclist to gain muscle mass. Even if you’re not losing weight so quickly, toning and shaping muscles are key factors for a healthy human body.
